Best chicken Shwarma anywhere. Period.

Wonderful family restaurant, decent Lebanese food. The chicken shwarma is great, and the garlic... I could eat it with a spoon! They are fast, friendly, and the best in the area. Try the rice pudding, it is definitely made with love!

Love the food here. The chicken shwarma is a great take and the classic sandwich, and their hummus is the best fresh hummus around. Pricing is fair, and since the dining room has been extended, dining in has been a great addition, and the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming!

Decided to try this place on a friend's suggestion. Didn't dine in, just grabbed a carryout. Had the chicken shwarma sandwich combo, which came with a choice of two sides. I opted for tabbouleh and hummus. The sandwich was large and very tasty. Good garlic sauce and a nice crunch to the pickles. I was impressed with the size of the sides - the tabbouleh was packed in a small carryout container, so I wound up with leftovers of that, and it tasted very fresh. The hummus was a little bland, but otherwise ok. The also provided a generous portion of pita bread with the sides. Service was fast and very friendly. Considering the lack of Mediterranean restaurants in the Mt Clemens area, I'm sure I'll be back.

Came here today for a quick bite with a couple girlfriends. Big mistake. We walked in and was not greeted at all so we decided to seat ourselves. Shortly later we were greeted by a very unpleasant waitress. You could tell she could care less about what we wanted. I ordered Lebanese salad and got fattoush salad. She never said anything. I asked for lemons for my drink and she rolled her eyes and walked away. Here's the best part- she walked by said "here's your check" threw it on the table and walked away. Hummus was bland, pita was crappy store bought and the chicken and rice was dry. The rice was ok but that's it. I will not be back anytime soon. Maybe for carry out if anything.

Great place. Carry out or eat in, the service is wonderful. Small mom and pop restaurant. Always want to help the little guys. Food is great.

I really like La Mia. Again I can't base this off their service because I always order take out. Usually food takes about 15 minutes and when you pick up your order there is always fresh baklava in your face that you're tempted to buy only one piece. I always order chicken schwarma and the chicken fatoosh salad. I love their fatoosh salad!! Their garlic dip is addicting also. If I could buy it in cartons I would..buckets even.

I actually just signed up for Yelp to recommend this restaurant. It's fabulous. The portions are filling, the food tastes better than Lebanese spots charging x3 the price. It's simply put wonderful, the mixed grill and tabouli or app trio are the way to go. The music can be a little loud for the atmosphere, only negative I can give it. HIGHLY recommended.

Food was decent. Had better. Think most of their things are over priced. But all in all. I give it a 3 and 1/2

Awesome service and awesome food, the chicken was cooked perfectly. The hummus and tabouli was perfect.

Let's give this place a try - Chef's Combination dinner was ordered. Since the links are broken to their web pages, I cannot reference their menu to tell you what I had. During my next trip, I will pay more attention to the menu items to better describe them to the Yelp audience. Lebanese cooking throughout. Still, all in all, I had a great meal, and continue to belong to the 'clean plate' club. My meal consisted of a chicken kabob and another very nice piece of meat, served over a nice bed or rice. On the menu, I noticed 2 smoothies and several drinks produced from juicers, both items reasonably priced. Their soft drink offerings include Coke products. The service was excellent.

I seen La Mia had great reviews on Yelp and had a 4.5 star rating. My dinner sounded pretty promising before I even stepped through the door. Not! My boyfriend and I waited close to give minutes to get seated. Nobody in sight to help us during 'dinner time'. Once seated we browsed the menu. I think if the owners updated the menu with descriptions perhaps items would be more appetizing and leave customers asking less questions about items. While looked at the menu the waitress brought us the garlic dip and pita bread. Nasty. The pita bread isn't homemade like almost all middle eastern/Mediterranean restaurants. The dip wasn't well blended together and the texture was thick and chunky yet watery. My boyfriend and I both ordered the chicken schwarma pita combo with hummus. I asked the waitress what kind of hummus and she said 'homemade'. Well then. Chicken was extremely dry and overcooked. Pickles in the pita were not fresh and some were brown. The hummus was the blandest thing I ever put in my mouth. I wish they had store bought hummus instead, at least THAT has flavor. I should mention the service isn't very attentive. I asked for no ice in my water and I got 'extra ice'. My boyfriend waited 15 minutes for a refill on his pop. In addition, my boyfriend and I pointed out to the waitress that there was a bunch of spiders (dead and alive) right next to our table. She told us 'it can't be. We were just checked by the exterminator yesterday'. Hmm interesting. Explains the filthy bathroom. I won't be returning to this establishment for awhile. It has potential but needs quite a bit of work in all areas.

I am obsessed with this place. It's funny, because it's my friend's aunt's restaurant and I had always made a mental note to check it out over the years and finally got around to it last week. I went for the first time last Saturday and couldn't stop thinking about it all week. Had it again last night (Thursday). I think I'm going to be a new regular! Everything I've tried has been so delicious and flavorful! When you walk in (if you get lucky) you are greeted by the very friendly and outgoing Christina. She will ask you if you want to try their opa! Trust me, you do! Their complimentary pita is warm and fresh and the garlic dip is perfect in every way. I could fill up on just the starters! I'm a huge fattoush salad lover. I recommend adding the grilled chicken and feta if you want to make a meal out of it. The fattoush dressing is perfect and lemony. I love it. I've also tried chicken schwarma wrap and chicken cream chop wrap. Both were excellent and flavorful, though I think I preferred the schwarma because of the grilled crispy bread. My friend got the chicken kabob dinner over rice and really enjoyed it. All three of us in my party are Lebanese enthusiasts and agreed this was our favorite Lebanese restaurant. Can't recommend it highly enough! I just regret not trying it sooner!

I really enjoy eating here. The food is very delicious and filling. I usually order the chicken shawarma sandwich and the sauce is fantastic. I cannot get over the Lebanese tea and rice pudding. :) Always satisfying service and the prices are amazing for the quality of the food. Thanks for being around!

Fantastic food! Best chicken schwarma in the area! Garlic Sauce was perfect as well! Will definitely be back!

I am guessing people who rate this place high marks have never been to an actual Lebenesse restaurant . The food here is shit . The hummus is from a can maybe a bag. The shawarmas are absolut crap! They use mayo for the sauce ???????!!!!! The chicken lemon rice had no lemon in it lol and was awfull. I have ate at over 25 different Mediterranean restaurants this one is by far the worst ever. Nothing here is authentic in any fashion. Also the staff is lazy, kinda rude and may need a shower .The price is what you pay at a place like Marhaba in West Bloomfield not this shit hole . Any Mediterranean restaurant with a "Philly Cheese Steak " shawarma should be closed down . This place sucks .

I stood in the restaurant for 5 minutes and no one acknowledged my presence. I walked out.

Consistent, reliable and decent Mid Eastern food. I like the falafel and the fattoush. The Chicken shwarma is just how we like it: tasty chicken, those pickles, pickled turnips, and garlic sauce. I don't think I have ever been disappointed by a meal here. A while back, the servers weren't that great. That has changed over the past year. Good choice for a reasonably priced meal for carry out or dinning in.

La Mia was a great place to go for lunch in the area. I personally don't eat wheat or sugars, so lunch can be a challenge in the area. We found La Mia after looking on Yelp. It ended up being quite good and had the menu we were looking for. I wouldn't expect anything extraordinary here, but if you have a Middle Eastern craving this will certainly do the trick. Also service was very fast and friendly.

Generous portions, fair prices, awesome chicken shawarma. I love being able to feed my family real food for the cost of fast "food".
(5)David M.
This place is great. Good chicken shawarma and pop in a can. Clean and friendly service. Your food is cooked right in front of you too.
(5)Kelly B.
Good chicken shawarma. I basically am basing my rating of this restaurant off the shawarma only. It's not the best I've had, but it is good. We always get takeout from here for lunch. I usually split the lunch entree with someone else. You won't leave hungry! The garlic butter is really great. It is so garlicky that I feel like I ate a whole bulb of garlic.

One of the best fattoush salads around. I get it with chicken and it easily is my big meal for the day. Their chicken shawarma and garlic sauce is excellent too.
